Method
Prepare the Ham
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves to create the glaze.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan, score the surface in a diamond pattern, and brush generously with the glaze.
- Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil, baste with more glaze, and continue to bake for another 30 minutes, or until heated through and the glaze is caramelized.
Prepare the Green Beans
- While the ham is baking, rinse the green beans and trim the ends.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add green beans, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
Serve
- Once the ham is done, let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the sliced ham warm with the sautéed green beans on the side.
