Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 medium cucumber sliced
For the Steak
  • 8 ounces sirloin steak trimmed and cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette

Method
 

Prepare the Steak
  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the sirloin steak strips with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  3. Cook the steak for about 3-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness is achieved.
  4. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Assemble the Salad
  1. In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens and sliced cucumber.
  2. Add the sliced steak on top of the greens.
  3. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese and red onion over the salad.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette before serving.
