Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
For the Honey Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
For the Topping
  • 2 cups fresh peaches sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Make the Honey Butter Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, honey, cinnamon, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
Bake the Chicken
  1. Place the seared chicken in a baking dish.
  2. Pour the honey butter sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Add the Peaches
  1. During the last 5 minutes of baking, add the sliced peaches on top of the chicken.
Serve
  1. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  2. Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
