Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Make the Honey Butter Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, honey, cinnamon, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
Bake the Chicken
- Place the seared chicken in a baking dish.
- Pour the honey butter sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Add the Peaches
- During the last 5 minutes of baking, add the sliced peaches on top of the chicken.
Serve
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
