Ingredients

For the Base
  • 1 pound chicken breast cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for marinating
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method

Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss until evenly coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare Skewers
  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning during cooking.
  2. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
Skewer the Chicken
  1. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
Cook the Skewers
  1. Grill the skewers for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  2. If baking, place the skewers on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until fully cooked.
Add Topping
  1. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill or oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley over the top.
Serve
  1. Serve the garlic Parmesan chicken skewers hot with your choice of dipping sauce or side dishes.
