Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage you can use coleslaw mix
  • 1 cup carrots shredded or julienned
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
For the Topping
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar optional, for extra tang

Method
 

Cooking the Base
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the shredded cabbage and carrots to the skillet, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring well to incorporate all ingredients. Cook for another minute to heat through.
Preparing the Topping
  1. While the base is cooking, prepare the toppings. Slice the green onions and set aside.
  2. Drizzle sesame oil over the cooked mixture and stir to distribute the flavor.
Serving
  1. Serve the egg roll mixture in bowls and top with sliced green onions. Drizzle with rice vinegar if desired.
