Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1.5 pounds chicken thighs boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 scallions sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Dredge each chicken thigh in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Bake the Chicken
  1. Place the coated chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Make the Sauce
  1. While the chicken is baking, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat until the sauce is simmering, then reduce heat and let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
Combine and Serve
  1. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and drizzle the honey garlic sauce over the top.
  2. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions before serving.

Notes
