Method
Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dredge each chicken thigh in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Bake the Chicken
- Place the coated chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Make the Sauce
- While the chicken is baking, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat until the sauce is simmering, then reduce heat and let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
Combine and Serve
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and drizzle the honey garlic sauce over the top.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions before serving.
