For the Base
  • 1 package pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For the Topping
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for dipping
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions for garnish
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños optional for heat

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a rectangular shape.
Cook the Beef
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain excess grease and stir in the taco seasoning according to the package instructions, adding water as needed.
Assemble the Breadsticks
  1. Spread the cooked taco beef evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough.
  2. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the beef.
  3. Cut the dough into strips, approximately 1 inch wide.
Bake the Breadsticks
  1. Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the breadsticks are golden brown.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  2. Serve warm with sour cream, chopped green onions, and jalapeños on the side.
