Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 8 slices bacon thick cut
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
For the Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce and honey until well combined.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the marinade and stir.
Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Allow to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Wrap the Chicken
  1. Remove the chicken from the marinade and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
Bake the Chicken
  1. Place the bacon-wrapped chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Brush the tops with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  2. Slice and serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.
