Apple Cranberry Baked Brie

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 round Brie cheese about 8 ounces
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed if frozen
For the Topping
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries or dried cranberries
  • 1 medium apple peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted

Method
 

Prepare the Brie
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to fit around the brie.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In a bowl, combine the cranberries, diced apple, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  2. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly coated.
Assemble
  1. Place the brie in the center of the puff pastry.
  2. Spoon the cranberry-apple mixture on top of the brie.
  3. Fold the pastry over the brie, sealing the edges well.
Bake
  1. Transfer the wrapped brie to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  2. Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes
