  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs with melted butter and milk until frothy. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool completely before frosting. For the frosting, mix powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla until smooth. Spread or pipe onto each cupcake and add mini chocolate chips as eyes.
