  • 9 oven-ready lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan, salt, pepper, and half of the basil.
  3. Layer the baking dish: start with marinara sauce, then noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with marinara and mozzarella on top.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve hot.
