  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Add granulated and brown sugars, whisking until smooth. Mix in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of cream cheese mixture on top and swirl with a knife for a spiderweb effect. Pour remaining brownie batter over the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Let cool before slicing.
