Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches wide and fit it into a greased tart pan. Poke holes in the bottom with a fork.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together almond meal, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Pour into the prepared tart shell.
  5. Arrange sliced pears evenly over the almond filling.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and set. Let cool slightly before drizzling with salted caramel.
