Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped shrimp and crab meat with salt and pepper; set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the egg and milk, mixing until smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Insert skewers into hot dogs and dip each one generously into the batter.
