- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian seasoned)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 24 oz marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs (about two tablespoons each).
- Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode and add olive oil. Once hot, brown half of the meatballs for about three minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
- Pour marinara sauce into the pot and add spaghetti (broken in half if needed). Stir gently.
- Place browned meatballs on top of the spaghetti and pour one cup of water over everything.
- Close the lid securely and set to pressure cook on high for eight minutes.
