  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced chicken until golden brown for about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add chopped onions and carrots; sauté until softened (about 5 minutes). Stir in garlic for the last minute.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stirring for one minute. Gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream while stirring continuously until thickened (around three minutes).
  5. Fold in frozen peas and thyme. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  6. Pour filling into the prepared baking dish, cover with pie crust, crimp edges, and cut slits on top for steam escape. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
