  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the silver skin from the ribs for tenderness.
  2. In a bowl, mix apricot preserves, chopped chipotle peppers, garlic powder, onion powder, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
  3. Generously coat both sides of the ribs with the glaze.
  4. Place the ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake for about 2.5 hours until tender.
  5. Increase oven temperature to broil. Uncover ribs, brush with additional glaze, and broil for about 5 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing between bones. Serve with extra glaze drizzled on top.
