  • 3 cups tart apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until crumbly. Press two-thirds into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In another bowl, toss sliced apples with remaining brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread over the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining crumble on top of the apples.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares.
