  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, slice open the sub rolls and place them on another baking sheet; brush with garlic butter if desired.
