  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the sauce over the chicken and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  5. While the chicken bakes, steam or blanch the broccoli until bright green and crisp (about 4 minutes).
  6. Toss the steamed broccoli with the remaining sauce and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
