  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and gradually whisk in Gruyère and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and basil; then add cooked macaroni to the cheese mixture.
  5. For a crispy top, transfer to a greased baking dish, sprinkle with extra cheese, and bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm garnished with additional basil if desired.
